CASEMENT & AWNING

 

Both casement and awning windows are amid the most energy-efficient window styles. Differences between Bow Windows and Bay Windows:

-  Bay window, consists of 3 openings which are available in 3 angled projections.

 

-  Bow window, on the other hand, has more than three openings, usually four or five.

-  Bay window’s overall structure consists of a picture window with two other windows, usually smaller, on either side. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-  Bow window’s structure is curved, creating a rounded appearance on the outside of the home. 

-  Angular lines and flat planes of a contemporary bay window are often used for modern homes.

 

-  Semi-circular outer structure of the bow window is ideal for any architecture that is more traditional such as the Victorian.
